As Requested: We Give You Phynn ..::UPDATED::..

Like we said in our last post , we love feedback and suggestions. A suggestion by xGooN187x mirrored our own curiosity about this guy Phynn.

Phynn, also known as Finne Jager in real life (yes Jager like my twitter alter ego YoniJager) is a pretty young chap from the Netherlands (Nieuwegein to be exact… Nieu… Nieuweweuw… *makes appropriate mouth shapes in an attempt to pronounce*). Born December 6th, 1984 (December birthdays pwn btw), Finne “Phynn” Jager is 25, and much like the youngsters Suncatcher, and Yenn, is tearing up the trance scene.

In 2004, Phynn released his debut release: Fictivision vs. Phynn – Escape (Phynn Mix). This was released on Tiesto’s sublabel, In Trance We Trust, which pretty much got his name out there faster than Octomom.

Phynn finally stepped up to the big time by getting signed to Tiesto’s main label, Black Hole Recordings after releasing his first single: Exotica

Phynn has had some major success since then. Being one of the few DJ’s asked to play Trance Energy 2 years in a row (2007, 2008) is one example, being asked to do a compilation mix for In Trance We Trust is another.

2008 saw Phynn release his first artist album “|Metamorphasis” and he really hasn’t slowed down since then.

Now, what songs have really caught are attention are probably obvious for a trance snob *sticks nose high up in the air*. Mikemy record label can’t spell my last name rightFoyle, released “Deadly Nightshade” this month which we loved. So check out the Phynn Remix, and try not to choke when you hear how awesome the song drops at 2:50 in this video.

..::UPDATE::.. 12:31 February 25, 2010

As promised, we have a nice 5+ minute clip of Phynn pres. Alpha Centauri – Supernova from Sied van Riel’s Rielalistic 028 Podcast. I might add, this was an amazing podcast by van Riel. This song was one of the many amazing songs on this podcast. This is definitely a feel good tune. Reminds us a bit of Greg Downey’s “Global Code”. Enjoy and leave us a comment!
